These terms govern your use of TFC Global Markets services. By opening an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't open an account — we'd rather lose you upfront than have a misunderstanding later.

1. Definitions

This section defines the key terms used throughout these Terms of Service so they carry one consistent meaning across all five legal documents.

Client means the natural or legal person who opens and holds an account with TFC Global Markets.
Services means the trading accounts, platforms, tools, and related services TFC Global Markets makes available to the Client.
Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Full defined-terms list pending counsel review. Will define: Client, Account, Services, Platform, Instrument, Order, TFC Global Markets (legal entity and registration number), Business Day, Force Majeure, and Affiliate — cross-referenced consistently across the Terms, Privacy Policy, Risk Disclosure, AML Policy, and Client Agreement.

2. Scope & application

This section sets out who these Terms apply to, when they take effect, and how they sit alongside the Client Agreement and the other legal documents.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Scope and application terms pending counsel review. Will cover: acceptance by opening an account, the relationship between the Terms and the Client Agreement, eligibility by jurisdiction, and the order of precedence where documents overlap.

3. Account opening and verification

This section covers eligibility requirements, the application process, identity verification, and the circumstances under which we may decline or close an account.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Full account opening, KYC, and account closure terms pending counsel review. Will cover: minimum age requirements, country eligibility, identity documents required, verification timeline, grounds for declining applications, account suspension procedures, and account closure rights for both Client and broker.

4. Use of the platform

This section describes the licence to use our platforms, the Client's responsibility for their own credentials and devices, and acceptable operating conditions.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Platform-use terms pending counsel review. Will cover: the limited licence granted to the Client, login security obligations, third-party platform terms (MetaTrader), supported devices, and uptime expectations with no guarantee of uninterrupted access.

4a. Synthetic instruments

Some instruments offered on the platform are TFC-owned synthetic markets — Alpha (volatility), Delta (boom/crash), and Sigma (tick/step) families — whose prices are generated by an in-house engine described on the Fairness Proof page. Synthetic instruments trade only inside our platform, do not track any external market, and are priced identically for every trader at every moment.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Synthetic-instrument terms pending counsel review. Plain intent: synthetic prices are generated by a deterministic engine documented in the Fairness Proof; they cannot be interpreted as a forecast, replica, or derivative of any external market; the engine cannot read Client account state and the audit trail (synthetic_ticks in Supabase) is retained for at least seven years so any trade can be reconstructed on request.

5. Acceptable use & prohibited activities

This section lists activities that are not permitted on our platforms, including market abuse, latency arbitrage, and any unlawful use of the Services.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Acceptable-use and prohibited-activity terms pending counsel review. Will cover: prohibited trading strategies (e.g. abusive arbitrage, exploitation of pricing errors), prohibition of unlawful, fraudulent, or money-laundering activity, automated abuse, and the consequences of breach including trade voidance and account termination.

6. Intellectual property

This section confirms ownership of the TFC Global Markets brand, content, and software, and the limits of any rights granted to the Client.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Intellectual-property terms pending counsel review. Will cover: ownership of trademarks, site content, and proprietary tooling; the prohibition on copying or reverse-engineering; and third-party IP (MetaTrader and data providers).

7. Fees, payments, and withdrawals

This section explains the fees that may apply, how deposits and withdrawals are processed, and the conditions attached to moving funds.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Fees, payments, and withdrawal terms pending counsel review. Will cover: spreads and commissions, swap and inactivity fees, accepted payment methods, withdrawal processing times and limits, source-of-funds checks, and chargeback handling. Commercial figures are published on the spreads and accounts pages and finalize at launch.

8. Account suspension & closure

This section sets out when an account may be suspended or closed, by either party, and what happens to open positions and balances.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Suspension and closure terms pending counsel review. Will cover: grounds for suspension, notice periods, the Client's right to close, the broker's right to close for breach or regulatory reasons, treatment of open positions, and return of remaining balances.

9. Limitations of liability

This section explains the limits of our liability and the risks the Client accepts when trading leveraged products.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Limitation-of-liability terms pending counsel review. Will cover: exclusion of liability for market losses, technology and connectivity failures outside our control, and force majeure — without excluding liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law. Cross-references the Risk Disclosure Statement.

10. Indemnification

This section describes the Client's obligation to indemnify TFC Global Markets against losses arising from the Client's breach or misuse.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Indemnification terms pending counsel review. Will cover: the scope of the Client's indemnity, the losses and costs covered, and any carve-outs required under UK consumer law.

11. Modifications to terms

This section explains how and when we may change these Terms, and how the Client will be notified of changes.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Modification terms pending counsel review. Will cover: the right to amend, notice periods for material changes, how changes are communicated, effective dates, and the Client's options if they do not accept a change.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

This section sets out the law that governs these Terms and the courts that have jurisdiction over disputes.

Draft — pending counsel review

{{LEGAL_DRAFT}} — Governing-law and jurisdiction terms pending counsel review. Expected: governed by the laws of England and Wales, with the courts of England and Wales having jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in the Client's home jurisdiction.

13. Contact information

This section tells the Client how to reach us about these Terms and where to direct legal or compliance correspondence.
